Kozhipannai Chelladurai

Chelladurai’s life is upended when his mother, Chitra, abandons the family after an affair. Raised by his grandmother, who later dies, Chelladurai struggles to care for his sister, Sudha. As an adult, he works hard to support them and rejects Thamarai’s love. When he discovers Sudha’s secret relationship with Soundar, he reluctantly accepts him as a son-in-law. After rescuing his memory-lost mother and later his ailing father, Chelladurai forgives his past, accepts Thamarai’s love, and starts anew.

Indian film director, screenwriter, and poet Seenu Ramasamy was born on October 13, 1973, and he specializes in Tamil cinema. His high-caliber films include Dharma Durai (2016), Neerparavai (2012), Thenmerku Paruvakaatru (2010), and Maamanithan (2022). Koodal Nagar was his first film as a filmmaker (2007). His film, Thenmerku Paruvakaatru, won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Tamil and was much praised.
