Paandi returns from abroad to marry his niece, Meena, who loves a boy from an oppressed caste. Believing a spell affects her, Paandi takes her to consult a seer, facing various challenges along the way. Paandi becomes violent towards Meena and his family but later apologizes. Meanwhile, Siva and Mani speculate about Meena’s relationship. At the seer’s house, Paandi witnesses rituals to “cure” a girl of infertility. Unable to endure it, he leaves, and the screen fades with the message, “The end of this journey is in your hands.”
