Every You Every Me

Germany, Spain | 2024 | 108 mins | German

At 24, single mother Nadine leaves her rural home to work in the coal industry near Cologne, where she falls for her impulsive colleague Paul. Their love blossoms, but seven years later, as structural changes threaten her job, Nadine begins to see Paul only in his “true” form, which feels alien to her. Struggling to rekindle her love, she revisits the roles she once saw in him. Every You Every Me is a magical, socially realistic love story set in Europe’s brown coal mining region, starring Aenne Schwarz and Carlo Ljubek, exploring love’s fragility and the power of perception.
