Terms & Conditions
(Delegate Registration)

  • Note: Each delegate registration is valid for one person only and is non-transferable.
  • Documents: Everyone is required to carry a photo identification of themselves (photocopies will be accepted). Student Delegate Pass holders need to produce a valid Student ID. Absence of any required documents can result in registration being refused at the box office.
  • Delegate Passes are required for all screenings by all patrons.
  • Delegate Passes must be collected at the Festival Box Office before all screenings.
  • Your online registration is NOT a pass – you need to present your online registration at the box office to redeem it for a Photo Accreditation card with lanyard before all screenings.
  • Delegate Pass holders must wear their lanyards to gain entrance to screenings to the venues indicated in the Screening Schedule.
  • Entry to film screenings is subject to 18+ years of age.
  • Only CIFF Supporters & Special Delegates Passes have priority seating / priority access to the to the venues indicated in the Screening Schedule. However, all seating is on a first-come-first-serve basis. Entry allowed up to 15 minutes after the commencement of each screening. Late admission is not allowed.
  • The festival reserves the right to prohibit entry of any person to an event/the venue or eject any person from an event/the venue based on behaviour deemed inappropriate by the festival staff and/or its agents and others working under its authority.
  • No person shall have unrestricted access to all areas of the venue.
  • Depending on the number of people at the venue and its capacity, the festival will at its discretion without prior intimation open or close all registrations for on-the-spot registrants.
  • The festival reserves the right to change the programme at any time. Every effort will be made to ensure a programme of equivalent standard.
  • Paid registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable. However Lost ID Cards will not be replaced.
  • Recording and photography inside the auditorium are strictly prohibited at all times.
  • Everyone is expected to behave in a dignified and orderly fashion.
  • No one is allowed to defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate the legal rights (such as rights of privacy and publicity) of others.
  • No one is allowed to publish, post, upload, distribute or disseminate any inappropriate, profane, defamatory, infringing, obscene, indecent or unlawful topic, name, material or information.
  • Promotional materials may not be distributed at the event unless previously approved by the festival. Anyone violating this policy will be asked to leave the event.
  • You shall be liable for the payment of damages caused by you to the festival property.
  • You shall be responsible for your belongings.
  • You are not allowed to use, consume and carry alcohol, tobacco products, narcotic substances on the festival premises.
  • You are not allowed to carry weapons, arms, or hazardous substances on the festival premises.
  • The festival is concerned with the protection of your privacy. We collect and store your personal information only for security purposes and the information is not disseminated in any form.
  • CIFF will not be liable for any loss, injury or damage to the ticket holder whatsoever or however caused.
  • Delegates are not participating speakers and Delegate status does not ensure entry to sessions.
  • These Terms and Conditions are liable to be changed at any time at the sole discretion of the organizer.
  • Please carry a valid ID proof along with you.
  • No refunds on purchased ticket are possible, even in case of any rescheduling.
  • Security procedures, including frisking remain the right of the management.
  • No dangerous or potentially hazardous objects including but not limited to weapons, knives, guns, fireworks, helmets, lazer devices, bottles, musical instruments will be allowed in the venue and may be ejected with or without the owner from the venue.
  • The sponsors/performers/organizers are not responsible for any injury or damage occurring due to the event. Any claims regarding the same would be settled in courts in Mumbai.
  • People in an inebriated state may not be allowed entry.
  • Organizers hold the right to deny late entry to the event.
  • Not allowed for red carpet screenings.
  • Venue rules apply.
